Year 2
Year 2 Spring Term 2 - Project 1
Friday 6th March 2020
As part of our project this week, we have been learning about how to look after ourselves. This includes focussing on our personal hygiene (especially relevant with the recent coronavirus outbreak), physical health and mental health. To help with this, we have looked at a mental health poster and made some flashcards to take home that use the principle of '10 a day'. These are 10 simple things to do every day to make you feel better. Here is the poster that we used and we think it would be great if everyone tried it!

Final Outcome
This week as part of our This Art is Popping project, we completed pop art style drawings of human and physical geographical features found in Bideford. On the laptops we had to open up a new word document and retrieve our photos that were saved in our folder. When we had done that, we inserted them into the document and then created our amazing pop art designs using copy and paste, resizing and recolouring techniques. Here are a few of our creations!
Year 2 Spring Term 1 - Project 1
Tuesday 21st January 2020 - Trip to Bideford Quay
We went on a walk around our local area looking at both the human and physical features of geography. The weather was glorious if not a little bit chilly but we loved spotting all of the features for Mr Page’s mission. We even did a bit of artwork in the park using a rubbing technique. Here are some of the photos we took – see if you can spot any of the features yourself!
Final Outcome
In our River Deep, Mountain High project we have been looking at which creatures live in which habitat. We produced some wonderful hanging mobiles to show our knowledge of which creatures live where. Here are some of our awesome examples!
