Assistant Headteacher - West Croft School
Are you an outstanding classroom practitioner looking for an exciting leadership opportunity?
West Croft School is a large, rapidly improving primary school, and we are seeking an exceptional Assistant Headteacher to join our senior team from January 2027. This is temporary (potential secondment) for a minimum of two terms (potentially three) to cover maternity leave. You will be a class based teacher in a KS1 classroom for 0.6 days.
About the role
You will lead Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 and the Read Write Inc programme, supporting our drive for excellence. You will model high standards of teaching and learning, coach colleagues and play a pivotal role in our ongoing school improvement journey.
