Playworker for Extended Provision Clubs - West Croft School

Opportunity for a temporary Playworker for extended provision clubs 

Breakfast club Monday - Friday 7.30am - 8.45am 

After school club Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 3pm - 6pm 

Plus additional cover where needed.

West Croft School is a maintained school and nursery in the beautiful town of Bideford. 

An opportunity to be part of our team has become available in the form of an assistant for our Breakfast and After School Club provisions. 

You will support the Extended Provisions Leader with the day-to-day running of the out-of-school childcare provision. 

The post will be responsible for motivating and working as part of a team, ensuring that a wide and varied range of creative activities are available for the children to access. This will involve creatively generating new ideas for activities and experiences to meet the needs of the children in the Club on a regular basis. 

The post is temporary due to: Known fall in roll impacting budget (needing to be monitored for the next academic year).

This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.

West Croft School is seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate and skilled Forest School Leader to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Forest School provision as part of our alternative provision offer, working with children who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, and other barriers to learning.

Using the Forest School ethos and therapeutic outdoor learning, you will deliver engaging one-to-one and small-group programmes that help children develop confidence, resilience, emotional wellbeing and the skills they need to thrive in school and beyond.
