The WCCPSA is much more than simply fundraising and exists to provide closer links between families, the school and the wider community.  When your child joins the school families are automatically members of the West Croft Community Parent Staff Association (WCCPSA) and encouraged to become involved to enhance education and experiences for all children.

It is an excellent way to bring the school community together socially in raising funds to support the school. We endeavour to utilise the funds raised to benefit children across the school, to enhance learning and create exciting events for all to enjoy.

We are always looking for new fundraising ideas and suggestions. If you would like to come along to our meetings please contact us through the school office or email: admin@westcroft.devon.sch.uk

Our fundraising can only continue with support from the school community to enable us to provide those additional extras for our children.

Christmas Jumper Day

On Thursday 8th December, we will be supporting Save the Children charity. Children can wear Christmas jumper on this day. School council members will be on the gates collecting a voluntary contribution.

Bake Sale

Year 2 are holding a festive bake sale on Friday 9th December. We are fundraising for a beach clean in February.

It will be starting at 3:10 in the KS1 hall.

WCCPSA Disco 

A Big Thank you!

West Croft Community Parent Staff Association (WCCPSA) would like to thank all the staff and parents who helped make the disco night a great success.

We raised a fantastic £809.

WCCPSA will be having their AGM very soon to which all parents and staff will be invited. At the AGM we will be looking at further events, projects within the school we can fundraise for, and creating a volunteer database. Thank you again for your support at the disco and helping make it such an enjoyable night for the children. Martha WCCPSA chair.

WCCPSA Summer Fair 

West Croft Community PSA would like to express a massive thank you to all of you who supported us to make the summer fair last Saturday a huge success.

We had a playground full of stalls, games and outside caterers, as well as the Children's enterprise stalls. On the field, we had inflatable games, an assault course and a wellie throwing competition. Alongside the games we had a full programme of demonstrations from Dance Fusion, Street dance, Torridge-elite majorettes, The Coconut Crew and Xplosion Cheer. We are very grateful to the School band and Choir who opened the event.

We would like to thank all of the trade's persons who attended, all the school staff who worked hard on the enterprise stalls and all who helped out on Saturday. All of the parents who either donated prizes or helped and of course all of the children for making the day one to remember!

We have to say a big thank you to Phat Dog events for providing the PA system and inflatable games and to Peter Lawrence for comparing throughout the day.

The money raised is still being counted but we will let you know how much was raised in our newsletter coming out in September.

West Croft Community PSA now have the summer to plan our next fundraising events.
